BBC Sport - Football - Ilyas Khan confirms Accrington Stanley board exit Many thanks Ilyas for what you have done, I know you are not going to be far away, but without you and Peter Marsden, there would be no Accrington Stanley. Hope to see you at some of next seasons games.

That piece of "news" was last updated on the 14th April and surely the last two paragraphs are the important part of what Ilyas had to say.
He said: "There is a business part of Accrington Stanley which is where my expertise lies. "I'll only have moved on once we've agreed on a budget for the pitch and the ground and either I or somebody else has provided it." |
