In search of cider
Hi All,
I'm preparing for our annual trip to Accrington again & I'm looking for a pub with decent cider.
The Crown was most obliging last year & it was much appreciated.
However, last year we stayed in Burnley (we all make mistakes) & although we found a pub with a good stock of Thatchers cider, 5 minutes in the kebab shop made the Jeremy Kyle show look like University Challenge.
Please folks, we are looking for somewhere decent to stay on Saturday night & somewhere to drink decent cider. I will happily bring 10 or 20 litre boxes with me, at cost price.

Re: In search of cider
Thank you Smudgie.
The Crown is looking promising before the game, but good cider & food for Saturday evening would help.

If they think the kebabs shops in Burnley are rough I would have recommended they stay in Accrington. Would be an eye opener ( or more likely an eye closer from the chav that punches it )

Re: In search of cider
Not the cleanest Kebab shop I'd ever been in, when one of us asked for a fork, two local slappers thought it was their lucky day.
Three times he had to spell F.O.R.K.
Is it really that difficult to understand a southern accent?
Wouldn't have been such a problem if they hadn't both been vastly overweight, covered in tatoos & butt ugly.
What a welcome to Burnley.
