Lightbulb Re: Increasing the fanbase

why dont you add a prize to the halftime draw as well as winning money you can get 2 years free membership to the supporters club so in a way you will be sponsoring the halftime draw...just an idea

1
thanks for the ideas Bazf, some of them are already implemented, some are going to be implemented as part of other things. The food share wouldn't work a) weather b) greedy buggers round here sharing food? never happen.

2
FC of Accrington, I think was directed towards the Hereford/Exeter/Halifax/Stevenage etc fans who saw fit to keep reminding us that we were not the original Accrington Stanley and therefore could not 'return' to the league. I may be wrong.

3
Cmonstanley, nice idea and could work, will put it to the next meeting. Maybe if you'd like to come along you could propose it. If not then I will do it for you.

Re: Increasing the fanbase

Just a suggestion Maccawozzagod, why don't you put the link to where you can sign up for membership on your signature. Might just get a couple more to sign up - I'm about to go looking for it now on the AS site.

Re: Increasing the fanbase

It would be great to be able to sign up on line and pay by credit card. You may even be opening it up to the whole world.

He's talking about the borough (Hyndburn) not just the town of Accrington, which has about 35,000 population I think.
