Maybe you're thinking of Charlie Griffin who bagged 20 for FGR last season, including one at the IES, and has now moved on to Wycombe, scoring within two minutes of coming on as sub in their friendly against Chelsea.

on reflection, it must be Leigh that he played for then. hey hum - just goes to show what I said about my sad old braincells !haven't seen owt on teletext about Rodney Jacks putting pen to paper at Wrexham - lets see what happens after the Wigan game, although you would expect the Stanley side to be given little chance to shine by the big boys.

they are playing Morecambe on Tuesday. Yes it will be a fairly strong side but they are spliting the squad I think. Jewell is announcing his squad(s) tomorrow.
