I'm inclined to agree that there may be an element of truth there. Much has been made of the Hereford incident (and was never a penalty let alone a sending off), but I think it has put a little more wobble in the jelly. The result at Hereford was not a problem but the manner in which the points slipped away and the subsequent arguments, rightly or wrongly, have put the wrong kind of fire in our belly.

Wrong kind of snow, leaves or fire it don't matter, tonight has gone now and we must look forward to a difficult trip to York. Cliche city again I know, but a big game is just what we need now. Maybe this defeat will serve to remind us that their is much work to be done yet.

And I apologise for taking a Welsh view in my first paragraph. I'd love Hereford to get within a point of us and then blow it themselves in the last game. At least its getting exciting again!

Re: Is it true...

Macca - you must have expected a bulls INVASION on here tonight. It is still yours to lose, but until the fat lady etc... the season continues.

BTW, I've watched the penalty incedent on conftv over and over including slowmos and freeze frame and I reckon the ref got it right. Overall, the result at our place was probably about right. A lot is going to depend on how your boys handle the pressure (and themselves) from now on. York ain't a good place to be going!

Re: Is it true...

Given the season we've had & being how many points? ahead of the bullsh*****s we can afford to help our fellow Lancashire strugglers who need a telescope to see the sea. Normal service will be resumed shortly, but good to give the also rans a bit of light & then snuff it out! Remember upset a wounded animal & it will come out fighting all the more. By the way, we put one more than you lot past Burton! Also look on your own fans site at the photos you lot posted. Rob Elliot had the ball covered & your photo proves it plus the mark on our lads shirt where the ball did hit him & witnessed only a minute or so after he walked into the crappy dressing room at your toilet hole.

Re: Is it true...

Yup. Like the comment from your gaffer in the next paragraph acknowledging your lots quote "deficiencies". Not talking about your team or fans,or could he be??????Goodnight, some of us up here have a living to make later on today, wish we had time for leisure pursuits but there arn't as many sheep up here & we wouldn't want to upset your main pleasure pastime anyway, taking points off you is enough for one last season.

I know they spell words wierdly in Wales, but it's Diesel.

As it happened, I was booked on to go today, I was about 5 minutes late and the coach had already gone. One of the few times I'm late and the coach doesn't wait 1/2 hour. I was actually there when the game got called off, so don't go slagging me off for missing a few games. I could count the games I've missed on 1 hand

That happened to me at halifax diesel...it is gutting isn't it!! A big game is what we need after this defeat. Hopefully its the stanley who keep the ball on the deck and play football which would rip any conference team apart i.e exeter..We are still 11 points clear with one more played..Hereford have a derby with kiddy on saturday and then away at morecambe..Both you may win but both will be very interesting ties...

Yep, I saw some of those tackles too - very lucky not to have had a couple sent off that night too!
