Is Toto good enough?
im sorry to post such a negative thread , especially in the middle of a season but am i the only one that thinks Toto isnt good enough?
Lack of positional awareness and a habit of just losing possession!

Re: Is Toto good enough?
If Cooky & Leam think Toto is good enough---then I think Toto is good enough

Can't argue with that The lad needs coaching and nurturing. They obviously think he's good enough, lets face it there probably isn't a player in the football league who hasn't made a few mistakes on the way up

Re: Is Toto good enough?
Yes, Toto is good enough.
He does make mistakes, but the good he does in central defence far outweighs any errors in his judgement.

Re: Is Toto good enough?
Yes Toto is good enough. Young and makes mistakes but if he didn't he'd be in the Championship. He is definitely a CB though as was proved on Saturday ;-)

Re: Is Toto good enough?
Young, still learning, gets stuck in, distribution needs work, but pumping the ball forward all the time as we seem to do a lot only exaggerates this issue, at times he looks like he is just strolling around but I guess that's just his way, thought he could be the best signing of the summer and I still think he may prove to be just that.

Personally think he can be, but needs to be sent out on loan, Temperament and distribution need much work. Don't agree though that cos the management play him we have to say ok fine, The messiah n his oppo who were back on sat brought a few that didn't match up in there time, example Branch, Bell,Etc.

Re: Is Toto good enough?
Don't think its a negative thread more a reasonable discussion among Stanley fans. No I don't think Toto is good enough.....at the moment. He may improve as other players have done such as Peter Murphy. Of the CBs at the club I would put him 4th best. Other players have been sent on loan to get game time and I'd like to see Toto do the same.

Re: Is Toto good enough?
Personally speaking, I think he's still young and to that end still learning, though each time he makes a mistake it's costing us dearly. Saturday proved the point again.
Thought it just rubbed salt in the wound when McIntyre had a reasonable game against us, just showing what we lost in that respect when he chose to follow Coley to Rochdale.
Options may be limited at the moment with injuries etc, though the sooner Deano gets back the better. We look a much more solid unit when he's in there at the back!!
Given time and a bit of nurturing, Toto will probably prove a more than useful signing, though he's got to learn to start concentrating harder and thinking a bit more. Thinking more about timing his challenges better and also thinking a little more about his distribution. And the disciplinary aspect of his game must improve.

Re: Is Toto good enough?
Agreed with carpon.
No doubt the boy has talent, he was m-o-m for me in a couple of games towards the end of last season.
No doubt he isnt a Right Back, which hopefully Cooky has realised after Saturday.
Hopefully Deano is back soon AND we can keep Atkinson for another month or two !

Re: Is Toto good enough?
Must admit I was surprised at toto getting the nod over linfield, especially at home,I presume cooky had his reasons.Although not a defender, going forward he's been excellent ,so he can count himself unlucky.
You could have thrown liddle in there,I am sure he would have done a job for us,so cooky has loads of options.
I personally thought the game was made for Charlie, can only assume he's carrying a knock or something, and thought Miller did well when he came on.
It's strange having so many options,is it really Acci Stanley ??

Couldn't have thrown Liddle in without being fined
Barnett has an ankle injury
