I correct myself from earlier, I said Exeter when of course I meant Stevenage.
That being, I can confirm I have seen the two and these are the 'scrawny little bag rats' I refer to.
Warned, pffft!!
Have you not seen Stanley play or what? Its going to be men against boys. Those two will provide about as much threat to our defence as Ashley Cole does to women!!

I've seen you hoofers play, i could'nt watch that type of football everyweek i'm afraid, maybe that's why your top of the league with a very poor following.
Yes your going up but i fear for your future.
We need to get ourselfs right for the play-offs, but when we play you off the park on saturday it will leave a nice warm glow inside my belly.
Your lot against Stevenage will be a good one to watch, Hooofff.
Oh great goal by Roberts against Burton.

Re: ItS ALL OVER!!
Top of the league and only getting crowds of around 2500, thats what i'm talking about.
What will the crowds be if your BOTTOM of league 2? Below 2000?
Players will be on higher wages the cost of running the club goes up.
Hope i'm wrong, in truth i hope you do well in the league.
Staveros, are you making the trip to Edgar St.?

Re: ItS ALL OVER!!
I didnt think Accrington Hoofed it that much on tuesday. Infact everytime we got on top of Accrington, the ball would go back to the keeper. he would slow it down give the outfield players a chance of a brether, then they would start their attack at the pace they wanted. Very clever and well exicuted. It will frustrate the hell out of the Hereford fans but i wouldnt complain if Bully did that for the shots and we had won 10 in a row.
IMO having seen Hereford twice and Accrington once i think Accrington are the better side. This year they attack with unity and pace and defend with unity. Hereford defend as a unit but dont always attack like it.
Hey you might be lucky and catch Accrington cold, but they seemed to know what was required on tuesday and i imagine they will be the same on saturday.

Fair enough mate but I couldn't see us getting into any financial trouble. Stanleys 'rainy day fund' must be enourmous now because we have raked plenty of money in of recent through player sales and TV money but we never really spend any, other than running costs of course. Obviously I dont know the ins and outs but I get the impression the clubs custodians are VERY prudent indeed.
I wont be at Edgar St my friend, no. As you may see from my avatar I have affiliations dowm Merseyside way and I will be otherwise engaged at Goodison Park on Saturday.
I'll be back for Southport away though and depending on results I may give up my ticket for Everton V Sunderland on April 1st in order to join the promotion party at the IES for the Grays Athletic game.
Where is everyone else anyway??? Does nobody do banter on here now or what?? It appears you have got the rest worried FOD, they have all retreated into their shells!!
A bit of confidence never hurt anyone.

Re: ItS ALL OVER!!
If i was i was in your position Staveros i'd be doing the same!:engsmil:
I thought i'd come on here for a bit of banter but i think your right, your fans are worried it will all fall apart, or still in shock at how well they're doing.
As Stevie shots said above we might be LUCKY and catch you on an off day!!!
LOL

Re: ItS ALL OVER!!
Worried about our future???? Are you mad! We were Unibond Div 1 (below Conf North for the newer fans) only 5 years ago! FOD you are bonkers, do some research before boring us to death on OUR forum....
We 16 points clear & having a right old laugh, you could beat us & we could still walk the league
Champions elect mate (& if roles were reversed not only would I not fear for HUFC, I wouldn't give 2 hoots because you are just one of the other 21 teams we have to play-but I'm glad you stay awake at night worrying about ASFC!)
Banter.... bah humbug, still tired from Saturday night

Re: ItS ALL OVER!!
If I remember rightly, didn't the champions elect last season come up to the IES and get battered 4-0 by Stanley. Look where they are now, struggling in league 2 whereas Carlisle who as we all know went up through the play-offs are in with a good chance of league 1 action next year. The Barnet fans thought we would come up with them but as we all know, we faded, however I can't see that happening this year, there is too much at stake to lose this title now. But I am one of those who will not shout about it until it is a racing certainty.

Re: ItS ALL OVER!!
Lets face it FOD, With 16 points clear & your how many first team out on Saturday? the dent will be so small it wont even matter. However our lads know they can create a majot part of football history & they are keen to achieve so don't put all your pocket money on the bulls cos you may find they have been castrated by 4.45 on Saturday. by the way, saw your lot years ago beat Blackburn Rovers 2-0 in the old third div. Around mid 70s, oh how the mighty have fallen, bet your ground hasn't had a penny spent on it since-well seemed like that last season when we came down.

We have 8 first team players out for saturdays game, but it's been like that for the last 3 or 4 games.
Our grounds awfull but at least it's coverd all the way around, we're ment to be having the blackfriars end ( away end behind the goal) rebuilt soon.
When we get the leases sorted.
About 5 or 6 years ago the club nearly went under, so i'm happy with the way things are shaping up for us.
Hope we can win the play-offs this year though, otherwise we will lose alot of our quality players.
Still think we will beat you on saturday.

Re: ItS ALL OVER!!
New changing rooms (best in the conference) and £50,000 on new floodlighting - nah, haven't spent a penny on the ground!

Re: ItS ALL OVER!!
I've really enjoyed F.O.D and ExLandlord HUFC's contributions to this site.
So this link is for them, http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/foot...nf/4789474.stm, see you next season?
