I've enjoyed it all over again !
Today's match , that is .
Having got home after one the greatest games I've ever seen at the IES, then checked the ansafone to find that my mum hadn't got her groceries, then dashed to Tesco before they shut at 8.00 , then dropped them off at her house, then got back home again and finally sat down and had a bite to eat, then checked my Internet Sales . . . . I finally logged on. And I read Tin Monkey's Match Report . It must rank as one of the finest works ever written in the English language . I was there again . . . seeing it, hearing it . I could even smell the onions from the burgers of that family who'd stood next to me (until I moved). What a Match Report ! There must be Sports Editors out there who'd give their eye-teeth to be able to publish that quality of journalism . . . the sort which makes you believe you were there even if you weren't - and I was. No or at least i cant find any for the exeter game except a small bit on recent matches but thats more like a round up of games
