I disagree. With all the travelling he does at the moment there's a wonderful site just beyond Whinney Hill that meets all criteria!!

Someone asked him on Twitter 2 days ago after Beattie was appointed. He tweeted congratulations to the gaffer on getting the job.
When asked if he would be accompanying him next season his response was........ "I Don't Intend on Leaving"

My feeling is, those lads wi promise,if they carry on developing next season, They will end up at a much better club than if they moved now.

Re: James Beattie is name as new Stanley boss!!
that could be a massive plus for Beattie in talking players into stopping on slightly longer than they might have done once over. He has been at the top and will have seen many players come and go that really should have stopped at a lower level for an extra season instead of moving before they were ready.
As a club we will never move onto the next level until we can keep players beyond that initial phase of "he's not bad". Linganzi is a great example. I've no doubt his phone will have been ringing from clubs at the top of league 2 or just promoted. If he chose to go now he could probably double his wages but may not play every week and his skill level may stagnate, and his career go no further. Alternatively he could carry on playing for us and pick up only a decent working wage but would be the star of the show and would get to shine all season and secure a better move than he could now. He needs to play more than a dozen games to really show what he can do. With luck he'll get a really good move with Beattie putting words in peoples ears towards the top end of the Football League and we benefit a fat transfer fee.

Re: James Beattie is name as new Stanley boss!!
All the talk about getting lads to stay for a season, build an impressive portfolio then moving to another club with better prospects seems a little defeatist. Why can't the talk be about doing well at Stanley, taking the club forward, promotion & climbing the leagues with Stanley instead? Just a thought.

Aint defeatist at all Dave, just plain common sense, summat hopefully most people use in the employment game? Stanley are never likely to be able to compete financially wi the majority of league clubs, unless some ultra-rich geezer comes along? we can all dream. Beats will try his utmost to take us forward wi next to sod all n thats me happy,
