Is this a 'feel it in mi water' type "just know" or is there any actual substance to your announcement, albeit you can't reveal your sources ?

The word is marque (pronounced mark) not marquee.

A marquee is a big tent or awning.

Marque means "Brand" as in the best quality you can buy.

Look the two words up in good dictionary. Nowhere is "marquee" defined as meaning anything other than a tent-like structure.

Even the papers get it wrong and it hacks me off!

I Feel better for that. Think I'll go for little lie down!
I've always took it as the big tent version just because (I assumed) you make a big song and dance about it and parade them around the circus tent. I think it makes more sense in the football world rather than a big brand signing

I may genuinely go out on the lash tonight purely in celebration of this signing.

What a coup this is.

Re: James Beattie Player/Coach

Is he going to be classed as assistant manager or will there be someone else brought in? I would have thought he would be perfect with Liam. It is a wonderful signing whatever.

We've technically had an England international play for us before as you didn't specify the sport.

David Lloyd played for our reserves before playing cricket for England.

Hopefully it won't be long until this site gets updated.

How Long Is It Since James Beattie Last Scored?
