It might have been fairer to allow United to announce David Moyes sacking before the next man takes over

You couldn't blame him if it was true. Blame the missing fans. Hereford about to go in to administration with a 10 point deduction which would see them relegated, due to poor gates like ours.

He should be sacked anyway after last nights performance. A decent manager would have got more effort out of the players and won the game 10-1
