Maybe not. From the North West Evening Mail on 12 May:

Prior to the season finishing six players were already on contracts for the next campaign: Gavin Knight, Jonathan Smith, Stuart Howson, Nick Rogan, Chris Butler and Mike Rushton.

But there's a rumour around on Barrow's message board that Steve Flitcroft may be on his way to Kendal.
