Re: January Window??
I've used the word "gazumped"
Deal agreed with players agent, contract drafted and written confirmation it's accepted
Player booked into local hotel
Transfer agreement sent by selling club
Messages to coaches from agent "deal done"
I'd say that's gazumping" as hours of work have been done to get to this point.
Of course a player has to get the best deal he can, but don't ask for all the paperwork to be drawn up until you are ready to sign it.
That's my view as I would rather people work on a deals that are going to happen
If it's wrong sorry.
Maybe the odd one in the last 10 years ; but 2 in 2 days

i,d like to add that with the attitude they have stanley might have swerved a bullet with them. if a few extra quid is your only motivation i,d be very wary of them.

Re: January Window??
All over the Manchester Evening News that James Trafford to join Bolton on loan for second half of season after he was recalled from a loan at Accrington Stanley, any truth to this or just paper talk, or have we a keeper signing lined up?
