Re: Jimmy Bell
Coley has said he doesn't want him to leave, but he's got a decision to make!

Re: Jimmy Bell
Job for life here....or join the managerial merry go round and be given six months to turn a pretty dire side into promotion contenders? Depends on his ambitions. Wouldn't begrudge him but don't want him to leave either.

Re: Jimmy Bell
Can't see it happening to be honest, wasn't it Port Vale where Jimmy was on the coaching staff while the two if them were 'on a break' from Stanley - he pretty soon left them to join up with Coley again at Southport

Re: Jimmy Bell
I understood he was well liked at Port Vale when he was there. I can't blame him for wanting to have a go at management but he would be missed here. However nothing ventured nothing gained. He come back refreshed in future if it does not work out for him. Whatever he decides I wish the best. If he stays that will be a bonus. Things like this tend to unsettle a team which is the last thing we need.

Re: Jimmy Bell
Last time John left I was hoping Jimmy would stay on here as manager. I think he'd do a great job tbh.
Must be hard to be forever in Johns shadow

Re: Jimmy Bell
I wouldn't blame him for going if they 'doubled his wages' just like any other person in the world.
Hope he stays though.

some people are good at being a number 2 to someone else but are less succesful when they try it on their own.

A vale fan was quoted as saying they only pay £40k.
Only Jimmys personal ambition would effect him to take the job and I couldnt see him swapping this job for that, similar money, more stress, more pressure, bottom of the league etc etc
