Joe Jacobsen now who next

Who will be next? Surprised so many players have gone but this shows the hardships that the players have had this season. Better hope Coleys getting in some good replacements soon.

JJ was with us for a few months, so it does not surprise me at all that he has chased the cash!!! Was not going anywhere at Oldham, got himself in the shop window at Stanley, so be it..... Not a great loss to be honest!!

What JJ gave Stanley was something we have struggled with which was natural balance on the left side of defence.

Re: Joe Jacobsen now who next

IMHO leam richardson if he can shake off the niggling injuries is as good as any and probably better than Jacobson and on a par with sunbeds Coly get him signed. I know it all feels like doom and gloom at the moment but Jimmy was bound to go on to bigger things and see ya and thanks for the memories to the rest. but i believe our powerful finish to last season put our lads in the limelight and at the end of the day they have to do what is best for their families (no different than the rest of us). Not knowing if you will be paid at the end of the month must certainly have had some influence on some of the depatures also Stanley will have no reserve team this season so JC & JB must surely be looking to cut the squad from what was it 25/26 down to maybe 16 for the upcoming campaign.

I STILL BELIEVE

p.s IMHO even if we had progressed to league one at the end last season some of these players would have moved on anyway as their wage demands would have been even more out of reach for Stanley.

Re: Joe Jacobsen now who next

spot on Google Page Ranking , but i fear Deano may be asked to play there again if a natural left back cant be signed.
The door may have been opened for him to play in his natural CB position, but i suspect he may be asked to play either fullback position, which is a shame,as Tom Lees proved,he could easily fit into the CB position, and build a decent reputation ( only my opinion tho ), along side a tall player, like long .
Think him and Hessey may not work as there too similar

Hope JC can get Long back on a season long loan deal Long and Hessey in the heart of the defences sounds good to me

Re: Joe Jacobsen now who next

Think your right mab , with hessey being a talker, long would become a better player, the only downside is that there both left footed ,which may effect the right side a little
