Re: John Coleman
As Ash say's rumours will abound with management & players that's the price of success
What will be will be but in the meantime just the small matter of some play-off footy to be played

Re: John Coleman
I also think the fact that Micky Adams (fired in the last hour!) is back in the unemployed ranks will have some bearing on matters regarding those teams supposedly chasing Coley.

Re: John Coleman
Micky Adams should never had left Vale Park.
I know people have the right to better there career, but I don't agree with managers leaving half way through the season especially when there doing well.

Re: John Coleman
there seems to be a reason why bury havent given richard barker the job, if there holding out to see if coley comes available it kind of makes sense.
they have always been complimentary of coley.

I cannot see why Richie Barker has not been offered the job either other than he is unproven at the next level, but there again so is Coley. The guy wins 6 out of 7 games, gets them auto promotion and yet the club are allegedly looking for a new manager! Just does not make sense at all.

Barker has no experience of actually picking and signing players. The squad was Knill's. What Barker did was galvanise and motivate them. Up to then he was a relatively new youth team coach. Do you take a chance of somebody inexperienced in management or try and find a more experienced manager, who could probably fail just as easily
Probably the best example might be the bloke at Reading ( can't remember his name ), but he did have years of experience working at the club with previous managers.
