Re: john paul kissock
Morecambe fans are bemoaning having 'missed' another gem right under their noses (at Southport).

Kissock hasn't signed for Crawley or anyone else yet so it may not be a "missed gem" yet.
Now we too have a Liverpudlian manager I would be disappointed if we weren't offering contracts to out of contract Liverpudlians

Kissock did nothing for Stanley when we had him on loan and unless he has greatly improved after playing for Hamilton, Newton, Formby and Southport I don't think he would be a good signing. Anyway, he is under contract at Southport so any transfer would involve a transfer fee.

Re: john paul kissock
We have had him here before without setting the world on fire. Why oh why do we constantly keep going back over old names. Been here did not impress, good luck finding another club, move on.
Still 100's of the lower end (DIV1 & 2) players out of work certainly much better than this guy, and quite a few better than the ones who are delaying resigning for us.

Well said. We will have a team ready for the kick off as we always do. We don't usually sign players until the beginning of August. The sooner we sign them the sooner we have to start paying them.

the figures being quoted are £1800 per week (he wouldn't get half of that)
£25k signing on fee (divide by a thousand and he'd still be lucky
£50k transfer fee (not in a million years)

Whats the situation regarding signing players ? The accounts haven't been filed so does that not mean there's an embargo in place ?

Re: john paul kissock
Hi all,the roumour is very strong that JPK will be officiallly showed off to the media tomorrow (Wednesday) as a Crawley player.
To be honest he looked a world beater at our plsace earlier in the season, best player on the pitch by a country mile.
Having said that, thats all me and the majority have seen of him as our away support is pretty rubbish,so i didnt see him in the corresponding fixture.
Slightly concerned that many of you thhink him very average ,though i know he is not one of ours yet .

Re: john paul kissock
Two things:
1) Nobody here has seen JPK play more than 5 games.
2) I hate Tories.

Re: john paul kissock
As a academy player he was top class, playing for England.
Seemed to have lost his way in his late teens, but he has unbelievable abililty,so if his heads right he will come again ,no doubt about that
