2nd round draw

Johnstone's Paint Trophy
Saturday 5th Sep 2009

Second Round Draw
Accrington Stanley will entertain Shrewsbury Town in the second round of the Johnstone's Paint Trophy.

It is an opportunity for Stanley to progress to the third round of the competition for the first time in the five years that we have been involved in the competition.

The full draw is as follows:

North West section
Accrington Stanley v Shrewsbury Town
Bury v Tranmere Rovers
Carlisle United v Macclesfield Town
Port Vale v Stockport County

North East section
Bradford City v Notts County
Leeds United v Darlington
Chesterfield v Huddersfield Town
Hartlepool United v Grimsby Town

South West section
Exeter City v Swindon Town
Northampton Town v AFC Bourneouth
Southampton v Torquay United
Hereford United v Aldershot Town

South East section
MK Dons v Southen United
Leyton Orient v Brighton and Hove Albion
Charlton Athleic v Barnet
Gillingham v Norwich City

Matches will be played week commencing 5th October.

ideal opportunity maybe for the admission offer mentioned by Grimps?

crowds are always crap for these games and the Shews won't bring anywhere near as many as the other week.
