All the good luck going, Smithy. Stanley won't seem the same without you. All managers, however good, make mistakes and John Coleman's letting you go is one of his biggest. One day, odds on, you will return to haunt us big time. There are lots of happy memories of your time at the club....one for sure would be the seminal game at Radcliffe which we had to win when we were in the Unibond 1st division. Lots of Stanley fans ran onto the pitch at the end to congratulate the players. I remember colliding with Smithy (the old back still has a few twinges) and seeing the look of achievement and pride on his face. Pure Accy'! As you have played for them before, even the thickest of the mighty one's supporters will know they are getting one Hell of a player. They are in fact getting a gem!
