JPT Question

Was on a website today that suggested that there is no prize money to be gained from the JP Trophy. Anyone know if that is indeed correct - is there no financial gains for progressing through the rounds, other than gate receipts.

If so here's hoping we win tonight and get the regional semi televised by Sky. (anyone know how much Sky gives each team?).

On a seperate point (purely to avoid starting a new thread), does anyone know if the club sells back issues of programmes. Was at the Crewe game in Sept and forgot to get one.

Re: JPT Question

I think there is prize money, but only a small amount.

Im sure it used to be £1000 for Round one, £2000 for Round Two, etc etc tho im not 100% sure.

And yes if you go into the club shop, they have old programmes

Re: JPT Question

Take a look at
The Football League | News | Johnstone's Paint Trophy | JohnstoneÂ’s Paint Trophy | SUPPORT YOUR TEAM ON ROAD TO WEMBLEY
where it says that total prize money is £400K of which £100K goes to the winners. Finalists also get a big share of the Wembley gate money. So, 'Come on you reds!'.
