I wondered where he had gone after Hyde didn't get promotion.

That turned out to be tittle tattle. There was a story of him going back to Morecambe to join up with Jim Harvey, the only manager who seems to know how to get the best out of him but that also proved untrue.

His private life and drinking habits plus a poor attitude seem to have put people off and rightly so, you don't think much of him and neither do the Doncaster fans.
