Kidderminster sack Manager

Taken from Kidderminster website

We would like to thank Stuart Watkiss for his efforts during the difficult and extremely traumatic period whilst he has been at Aggborough. However, it is felt that the club would benefit from a change in direction in football team matters. With this in mind, Stuart's contract has been terminated with immediate effect. Martin O'Connor will take over as Caretaker-manager for the immediate future.

Hope this doesn't make them play better on Saturday.

Re: Kidderminster sack Manager

I honestly cant see, after having your manager sacked, that you can go to a top of the league side, and get a result

But I think that would depend on what their players actually felt about their manager. Maybe they actually didn't like him as a manager and may actually play better under a caretaker/Manager. We've all seen it when teams have lost their manager that they suddenly have an upturn in fortune as they feel they are all fighting for their place also!!

But of course that won't happen this weekend

Just in case though ... STANLEY PLAYERS BEWARE!!!!

Re: Kidderminster sack Manager

Some of us might remember Martin O'Connor, the caretaker boss, coming on as a sub against us for Shrewsbury at the Gay Meadow and putting in a very good performance. I just hope he's not an Andy Preece.

Re: Kidderminster sack Manager

He also played the full 90 mins at Accrington for the Shrews & ran the game in the holding midfield role

The best I've seen in that position in the confernce
