Re: lancashire cup final

the final score was one nil to accy scored by butler early on in the first half,we had numerous chances but it just was not for going in the back of the net.quote of the night was more fun watching paint dry.

Re: lancashire cup final

The decision to make it two legs was made after the final two teams where decided... both Morecambe and Accy asked for it to be two legs played at both clubs grounds..... they said it was so more fans culd see the final...

So we have to see who we are playing then there will be a meeting with the lancashire league and the two clubs to decide venue and date... I wouldn't like to guess one leg or two ..

Re: lancashire cup final

Thought Brig might have got a wee bit of credit on here - given our horrific run of form, and the capitulation at Farsley.

Both sides had their chances.

Good luck in the final.

Re: lancashire cup final

I think the fact that stanley ran and ran and couldn't get a goal speaks highly of bamber bridge.. we are all just so frustrated that what should have been...didn't

I have some pics going up this morn but not many as I have the flu coming on and didn't feel up for it... I think your on there speedbairn.. well it was someone very BIG i hadn't seen there before

Re: lancashire cup final

Might have been a better scoreline if people had got the ball out to Rory more often. Coley was shouting himself hoarse telling them to pass to Rory, but they just seemed to ignore him most of the time. The few crosses he got in were spot on everytime.
