Lancs Cup semi-final
So how many are planning to go to this one?
Its been tinpot so far but we have a real chance of winning this tie (will Shrek play?) and playing Manure or Blackbore Rovers in the final. I would imagine due to the lateness of the semi that the final will probably be put back until next season as a pre-season warm up with silverware at stake.
Also has any other team won the junior and senior cups within three seasons?
Last game of the season (probably), 12 miles down the road, cheap admission, and a chance to re-live the old days by going on the bus singing Clitheroe Castle is falling down. Lets get mullered and take the goal end stand (it has a roof)

Re: Lancs Cup semi-final
I'm a cert.
I went to the second round tie at Rochdale and had a right laugh, every body in the same stand, and being told to "sit down, shut up" by 2 ten year olds after Smithy hit the bar.

I'm up for it but when was the last time you tried to get a bus to Clitheroe in the evening, impossible.

Re: Lancs Cup semi-final
If we still have the big van by then I`ll fill it up with people for the short trip.
Unless anyone wants a lovely red Convoy for 500 sheets.
I aint been to Shawbridge since I was about 13, cripes 30 yrs, used to go a lot then.
You`ll have to change your song to-
Clitheroe castle`s having a £3 million refurb.
It`ll probably have a roof before the clayton end.
Provisional names for a lift then. Club Shop 6.30 dya reckon ?

Re: Lancs Cup semi-final
You can't get a bus back from clitheroe to accrington after game. You have to go via Blackburn, buses are 225 departing aprox 15past the hour last one 23:15.

Re: Lancs Cup semi-final
I’m up for it and will be there providing I’m not working (I have to get a job first). I’ll have three or four seats for anyone who wants dropping back at the FES after the match.
