Lancs United Marsden Trophy Cup thingy

Oh no, how sad - Morecambe lost to Lancaster in their match last night. The competition won't be the same without our traditional match against the Shrimps - ah well never mind maybe we'll get to play Barrow instead!!

My thoughts exactly Harwood Red - apparently they're blaming their defeat on fielding a weakened side and before anyone asks, yes Kempson was playing.

I'm rather fond of Lancaster myself anyway so glad to hear they had a good win

There were only 2 players (Curtis and Carlton) playing last night that played and beat Grays Athletic. That shows you how seriously we took it but we should still have won. Kempo was suspended Saturday and missed Grays so got a run last night.

Thompson played. Is he not first team anymore? Perhaps he's coming to the Stanley in January?

Sorry I Meant the starting 11 had only 2 players who thrashed Grays.

Thommo came on as a sub.

We could take Roberts off you in January !!

We both know that is highly unlikely!

I've always like Thompson as a player, even when he went out of favour with you lads in Morecambe. I think him and Bentley are the two players I'd like to see the most at the IES.

The question is, would they be happy to sit on the bench every week?

was impressed with Roberts in the Grays game, if he plays like that every week probably should be playing higher.
Mind you Thompson terrorised the Grays defence on Saturday. Their defence is quite poor but they are useful up front.

I doubt morecambe will be too bothered about this setback but a piece of silverware is always nice
