Re: latest score
Golden rule- only use substitutes for injuries or to retrieve a losing position - its gone wrong so many times for us substituting a winning team. Tactical subs are nonsense.

Re: latest score
yes but without the aid of the mighty cook we may well have gone 3rd.
having both him and crichton on the field at the same time is madness the law of averages says there'll be a cock up within 10 minutes.
cookie on exactly 11 mins 33 seconds before being booked. very close there Sparks!!

Re: latest score
Get a grip. Four points from two away games. We would take that every time.

Paul had a great game. And he made the second goal by laying it off to David Brown on the right who made a superb cross for the incoming Craney to nod in.

Re: latest score
Thanks for that MikeA,
just pointing out that on BBC text commentry his name wasn't mentioned a lot so assumed he wasn't doing much. Glad to hear he was playing well as per usual.

Re: latest score
How can the people on here who never went to the game last night blame Paul Cook???
Don't get me wrong he has had many stinkers this year but yesterday he never did anything at all wrong, Coley brought him on to try and slow the pace and put his foot on the ball and slow the game down and Cooky did what he was told and never put a foot wrong.
You cannot blame Paul Cook for yesterday there were 10 other (tired) players on the pitch. But hey lighten up we got a point at Burton, although it should of been 3 really, lets forget about it and cncentrate on the battle of the roses on Monday against York......
Keep the faith everyone And make sure everyone of you on here gets down to the IES on Monday, except the southerners who cant make it otherwise get yer name down to Crawley and give your full support to every single one of the lads out there, even Paul Cook
Come on Stanley !!

Re: latest score
Dont fret Im keepin the faith and have done all season but that pic says it all. Dont get me wrong but why bring someone on to 'put his foot on the ball and slow the game down' as you put it when we could have really done with finishin the Stoke rejects off???
Cooky is no good on the Conference field and thats fact - hes probably sh1t hot behind the scenes on the training field but thats where he should stay.. You can only expect one thing when he comes on, and thats for the opposition to score - which they duly did... AGAIN..
Anyway - we will take it out against York on Monday Im sure.. Just very surprised like a lot of others on here why Cooky even bothers coming on anymore... He should stick to what he is best at and thats not playin the field at Conference level...
Frank but fair...
Controversial?? I dont give a toss - this is only my opinion.. Like it or lump it..

Re: latest score
everyone is entitled to there own opinions and in this cas i agree with you JT. Cooky should be just a coach.
