Re: Latish Plymouth Thread

Very disappointing start for Cooky. He should be able to see obvious areas to work on. For me Murphy needs to play the role of enforcer in midfield that Procky used to play. He has played better in midfield recently than he has at full back. For me he is too prone to getting drawn out of position at full back. He has made a couple of goals playing further up the pitch in recent matches and also scored one or two. I would fit in Danny Coid at full back who would be much more solid and would show his experience too. New lad Devitt looks could and could be a supplier for big Chris up front who got no service at all on Saturday. Murdoch deserves a chance now in goal and Tom Bender too at centre back along side Deano, who was the only player really to come out of Saturday with any credit. Having said that several players had their worst game so far this season...even worse than against Barnet!! Let's hope they have got it out of their system now!!
COME ON THE REDS ...onward and upwards.

Re: Latish Plymouth Thread

Cashy, had to laugh at Harry redknapps post match comments after stevenage game.
He said they couldnt play there passing game because of the bobbly pitch so they had to go long!!!
Coley got slated for doing that, and hes the next england manager !!!,
Think that was our undoing on saturday, they played the pitch better than us as we had more of the possession !!!--should have played an highline and two upfront and gone more direct, boring game plan, but would have been more effective imho (couldnt have been worse)

Re: Latish Plymouth Thread

Should be interesting tomorrow night at Crewe to see whether Cook decides to play Murdoch instead of Dunsavin for a change.
