League 2 betting

Once again, Stanley are the favourites to be relegated at 4/1

Will the bookmakers never learn?

Interestingly, Stanley are 18/1 in the handicap market to win the league with a 27 point head start. Are we capable of finishing within 27 points of the eventual league 2 winner? I would say so.

Re: League 2 betting

Damn right, the winners are usually around the 90 point mark iirc, 70 points would narrowly miss out on the play offs. Who is that with Davo?

Stanley to win their first three games is 25/1 with Skybet.

Re: League 2 betting

I havent had a bet yet, but was tempted by Dagenham to get relegated at 5/1

They had stanley at 11/1 just to get to the play offs in the ladbrokes shop = can we get top 7? Maybe.

its worth pointing out in the handicap market we are rank outsidered at -27/-28. As long as one of the other rank outsiders doesnt finish above us, it looks a decent bet.

Anyone who backs Portsmouth at 4/1 needs their head testing.

I am of the opinion that league 2 is wide open this year.

Got a tenner on Stanley to finish top at 100/1 with Ladbrokes and am quietly confident of picking up my dosh come the end of the season!

its a long time since I had a bet but my understanding of the handicap jobbie is that we have to finish within 27/28 points of the top in order to 'win' the league and thus the bet - it doesn't matter who finishes above us does it?

Macca,
Different bookmakers have different rules and different handicap scoring
