Re: League 2 play-off Final
Absolutely crazy the match is played at Wembley for a start. Why on earth not use Old trafford or the etihad is beyond me.
As for Fleetwood going up, cant say im surprised. Joint biggest wage budget in the league along with cook and co, so yet again another team gets bankrolled through the division.
Annoys me when people say what an achievment for the likes of QPR, Wolves, Rotherham, Fleetwood etc to get promoted. They all had the biggest budgets in the division more or less for christs sake.
If you want to see real achievement then look down the road at Turf Moor or even look at us !

Good luck to Fleetwood, while the fish stocks last.
But it's been a bad set of results in terms of potential gates for Stanley, losing Fleetwood, Rochdale, Snakesfield and Scunthorpe and 'gaining' Luton, Cambridge and Stevenage.

Back to normal for the Lancashire derby. Just us and @ASFCofficial again. At least @ftfc let us win.

Re: League 2 play-off Final
We always seem to play Burton at home on a wet Tuesday night,so i'd have liked that one out the way! Fleetwood have far greater resources than we could ever hope for so i'm getting a bit sick of being expected to wish them well.

People who pretend to support Blackburn or Burnley(especially the ones who live in Accy or Great Harwood ) but never go, for starters. "You'll be wishing them well being in the same division wont you"? When i reply that i wont as they've bought success i'm accused of sour grapes.
Radio Lancashire also, as they tend to favour west Lancs than east Lancs in my opinion. Lowie must have a hard task having to pretend to want Fleetwood to do well, but he gets paid for it so i suppose it's easier.

Re: League 2 play-off Final
Hmmm.......somewhat begrudging 'congratulations' on here so far for FTFC. (and for Rochdale I suppose)
I think that we should heartily congratulate Fleetwood Town on achieving yet another promotion, (even if it is based on a big money input into their coffers over the last few seasons.)
Perhaps if we had received the benefits of a generous benefactor we might have a different view on the place of these people in football......
Yes we have lost a good derby day/evening out at Fleetwood but it is great to see our Lancashire peers doing well.
Good luck to them.

Re: League 2 play-off Final
So they got money behind em, so what, I reckon thats a pathetic outlook, 99% of Stanley fans would love a millionaire to get behind us.

Wouldent surprise me if Luton bring a huge number, especially if they in and around the Top 6, which I fully expect.
Cambridge also travel well.
As for the scum............. Im not even commenting on those morons.

Re: League 2 play-off Final
I don't mind Fleetwood.
My only objection is the way the media cite it as a footballing fairytale when in reality they are bank rolled by a Blackpool fan who couldn't afford to buy the Tangerines at the time.
I do however see shades of the Rushden & Diamonds debacle and fail to see how their gates are going to grow as now they are a realistic competitor the Blackpool fans who go on Highbury may now think twice.
Fair play to the 80 who were at Pilley's first game though. One hell of an adventure!!
I think it still needs to be at Wembley smudgie. Numbers aside you can't begrudge the supporters the chance of a day out at the home of football. It just happened to be two small clubs which isn't often the case but I'm glad somebody's upsetting the apple cart!!
A better way would have been for Wembley to sell tickets block by block as required to stop the mass spreading out.
You could easily say the same of the FA Trophy and FA Vase finals.
