Re: Leam gong ?????...
club should give him and the snake an ultimatum. HANDS OFF OUR PLAYERS. Anyway the ones who may be being on the radar of other clubs are more than likely being League One clubs or higher.

Re: Leam gong ?????...
I said a few things in a speech once, that weren't exactly true. (Mind you the wife was stood next to me in a rather nice white dress)

Re: Leam gong ?????...
You could not make it up. I have heard that Ian Rush is having a go as manager for us next season. Anyway, whoever gets the job will need a lot of encouragment and support for the new season.

Bob Dylan had it right - "Money doesn't talk, it swears".
Good luck and thanks anyway, Leam.

Re: Leam gong ?????...
Very disappointed in him. The club were loyal to him when the results were poor - where's the reciprocal loyalty? I also think he's made a move for short-term gain that will prove very unwise in the long run. Just hope the club have screwed every penny of compo we're due.

Re: Leam gong ?????...
Leam gone, I’m expecting an exodus of players will follow, it’s a very worrying time for supporters, hope the club keep the fans up to date with players that are moving and staying

Re: Leam gong ?????...
Seems to me the club were loyal also to leam during his injuries before he became gaffer.

Re: Leam gong ?????...
He pulled off a stunner over the last couple of months and kept us in the fight, for that I'll thank him and wish him well in his new role as an assistant.

That does seem likely but their departure will not necessarily be a good move for them. It is often difficult especially when moving from a club where they have been for several years and have thus gained a certain status. The rapport with the fans and the club becomes almost intuitive. Rommy himself is a good example as his stay at Burton Albion showed. JC and JB are further examples. I too wish Leam well but I hope that he is aware that fans elsewhere will not be as tolerant of weakness or failure.

Re: Leam gong ?????...
Actually thought it was a wind up when I first heard the news.
Cannot believe it has actually happened to be honest.
I dont blame him going if the money is that superior, but as others have said loyalty is officially DEAD in Lower League football.
Where do we go from here??? One things for sure, NOBODY is bigger than the club. ASFC will NEVER DIE!

It would have been a lot more worrying had we been relegated.
