Re: Lee McEvily released by Wrexham

How could he be released when he could only be offered a one-year contract because of the restrictions placed by being under administration?

Boston are rumoured to be interested in him.

Zayno, check the fishy site for links to the Wrexham website & messageboard.

BBC, 8 June:

'The Dragons are currently in negotiations to keep Andy Holt, Danny Williams, Jon Walters, Lee McEvilly, Lee Roche, Matt Crowell, Shaun Pejic, Levi Mackin and Simon Spender at the club.'

Re: Lee McEvily released by Wrexham

his release couldn't have come about due to his thoroughly sh1tty attitude could it!!!
One of the first things he did when he went to wrexham was have a big barney over his attitude with the manager!! Quality first impression!!!

He's also spent alot of time out injured aswell. rumour has it that he wants to come back here, personally i hope we have nothing further to do with him.

Re: Lee McEvily released by Wrexham

I always thought he was a superb player, and gave the front line some much needed aggression. OK his attitude might be a little suspect, but JC & JB can sort that out, surely.

Top player. Not many defenders wanted to argue with him. I would love to see him back. He has Accy Stanley and recent league two experience.

The BBC now thinks Dr Evil may be on his way to Bradford: http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/foot...am/5112930.stm which would rule out any chance of us picking up a fee for him.

But Suzanne in the LET is linking him with a return to Accy: http://www.lancashireeveningtelegrap...ley_return.php.
