Re: Lee Molyneux......
Nope.
Looking at his history the lad has pedigree, will also challenge Liddle for that Left Back position. Looks like his move from Everton to Southampton then Plymouth never worked out.
Im hoping now he is back in his native North West we could see big things

Re: Lee Molyneux......
First disagreement of the season smudge !,both good players, but molyneux is ,IMHO ,a better fullback.Don't forget he's had no pre season, for reasons I can't disclose, but if he gets in shape,he could easily play in the championship.
Come on cooky, work your magic, ps I also rate liddle highly

Re: Lee Molyneux......
We had Lee for a spell in 2010 and he came in with rave reviews and we were pleased with his acquisition. However, he failed to get anywhere near the first team, mainly due to fitness issues and the fact he really wasn't that good. I saw him in a couple of Reserve games that he featured in and you could tell that he'd been in a higher league, however, he just didn't seem good enough. His first touch was average at best and his fitness needed a lot of attention. You could tell there was something there but he did look very raw. We subsequently released him in the summer and this is the first I've heard of him since his departure. I see he played a handful of games for Plymouth during their relegation season, so given the state of Argyle's fortunes at that time, it'd be a little harsh to judge him purely on that. 13 games in 4 years is a little worrying as he is very raw and doesn't have much experience, but I suppose the only way of him improving his game is by getting more game time and I'm sure he'll get that opportunity at Accrington.

Re: Lee Molyneux......
Thats what i love about football, opinions and good debate.
But your right on the fitness issue, hopefully Cooky will address that.
I bet Preston fans thought Andy Carroll was crap whilst on loan, and is now a England regular(still crap tho )

if a professional player needs to 'get in shape' and then might have a chance hes a waste of space and not the type of player we need.
i was looking forward to seeing him play, but against Man U he was poor, (harsh to judge on one performance I know) and on that display no match for liddle
