Re: leeds [stanley related]
Good effort from Kettering...at least they forced Leeds to play an extra two hours of football that not many would have foreseen when the second round draw was made !!! And made themselves an extra few quid in the process !!!
Their attitude over those two games (barring the second half of extra time tonight) was exemplary. Just shows that if we work hard against Leeds next Tuesday then a shock is not entirely out of the question!!!
Listening to Grayson post match though, he seems to be pretty focused on just playing the next game...their league game with Brentford at the weekend seemed to be his main object of attention & getting promotion.
Hopefully his players minds will wander a little next Tuesday as they start to think about playing Rooney et al at the theatre of the prawn sandwich brigade and they'll forget they face a lethal partnership in Bobby G and the wonderful Michael Symes !!!
Hopefully Leeds will do something similiar to what was mentioned on another thread, something along the lines of...if you want a ticket for Old Trafford then turn up against Stanley and get a ticket stub (from Tuesday's Stanley game) and that might put a few more on the gate next Tuesday ???
