Leigh Genesis FC

Leigh RMI have rebanded themselves as Leigh Genesis and have also gone full time to go with their new stadium. Shouldn't they try for a lucrative sponsorship deal with Phil Collins now??

Re: Leigh Genesis FC

I suppose it was inevitable that the Horwich link would be dropped once the football club relocated to Leigh. Quite sad to see the club lose the Railwaymen's Institute tag, although it lives on in Horwich with the harriers and cricket team.

Re: Leigh Genesis FC

Apparently, the name of Horwich RMI FC lives on. A new team was formed in 1996 and, after a few years in Eccles, are almost back playing in Horwich. See http://www.theboltonnews.co.uk/sport...heir_roots.php. Good luck to 'em.

Re: Leigh Genesis FC

I've been recommending that for two years as a way of the club saving the whole sum of discount offered on oearly bird incentives and a way of guaranteeing a certain amount of shirt sales BEFORE they go on sale
