Leroy Paramon

Does anyone remember a player for Stanley of this name? My young friend at work played 5 a side football last night and on the opposing team was a 50 year old of the above name (or similar). He is still a class act, apparently, even at 50 and amazed everyone with his physique and conditioning, inspiring his team to a 7-3 victory. He said he used to play for us.
Anyone?

Re: Leroy Paramon

Ollie Parillon was a big black centre half whom we swapped Ashley Hoskin for from Barrow in the mid 90's. Ollie was coming towards the end of his career at the time but was only early thirties rather than nearing forty.

Tug boats and Pearl Harbour eh Spud?

Re: Leroy Paramon

Thanks all. That sounds like him, but his mates must be wrong about his age!
Played also for Morecambe and Leigh RMI apparently.
