Looking again (masochism, l know) at the brief 'highlights' of the match, I think RR's comment is more telling.
It's a good but predictable cross right into the six-yard box, Mr. Chapman makes a move to claim the ball, and could have done so before it reached the Orient forward, but, for whatever reason, he backed off.
He's a big lad but, like many keepers these days, doesn't always seem willing to use his physical attributes to dominate his area despite the fact that, given the protection keepers have from most refs, most challenges on them when in the air are likely to be penalised if it results in the keeper dropping the ball.
