Re: Like Christmas Eve.........

Have a safe journey down people. The fans of Exeter are generally a friendly bunch, I'm sure you lot will have a great day out. I can see it being a tight game, this is a must win for us if we want to keep up with you. I've been looking forward to this game for the past 2 weeks. Hopefully a 5000+ crowd.

For your information, there are plenty of pubs for you to visit. If you are travelling by train, the Imperial is always a good bet, but is 15 mins from the ground. For a selection of Real Ales there is the Brooke Green quite near the away end. You will also be more than welcome into the St James Centre (The bar in the ground).

How many flags are you bringing (hopefully not the Uri Gellar fan club - we hate being associated with him). Look out for the Oman Grecians flag at the game.

This essay is now completed, see you all tomorrow.

Re: Like Christmas Eve.........

it's finally here, Christmas day! I'm not alone in thinking this is probably the biggest game in Stanleys history. Every one of the chasing pack seems to think that we will slip up and concede our 8 point lead - well, win this one and maybe they will all start to believe. This is the turning point of the season. If we lose then its game on but we still have a nice little lead at the top - draw for the status quo, Exeter and Grays still 8 points behind but Grays with a game in hand - WIN and we are 11 points in front and then people can start to say that we are running away with it. A good win here would make the other lot sit up and take notice that this Stanley is the real deal and we can and will make Football League dreams a reality.

Safe journey to all those who making their way down, and to those that aren't, get up to the clubhouse or the Crown where the crowds seem to be going and make some noise. Murdoch has scuppered our travelling hordes but you can still cheer the lads on.

Make this the greatest and biggest day in Stanley history

VIVA LOS ULTRA'S
