Re: lincoln supporter
it happens on every site bananachappie!
the only thing that annoys me is that you get idiots like th eBoston fan who assume that we broke wage cap restrictions to go up. Exactly what does he know? I reckon if we had have broken wage cap restricitons then we might have secured a few more signings that we have wanted to make over the last few years. Sugar daddies don't have leaking roofs (or no roof) or this that and the other missing, usually because they want to surround themselves with the best availble facilities. We definitely dont fall into this category

Re: lincoln supporter
So,,,we have a Darlo supporter accusing us of having no atmosphere...
...and a Boston fan accusing us of cheating.
What next?...a Millwall fan accusing us of hooliganism?

Re: lincoln supporter
"Couldn't make it up"??? You did make it up, or at least created it. I'm sure that's called entrapment.
To be honest, I can't see much wrong with the stuff others are saying on there. You started a thread and made claims that can't really be supported, then come on here moaning that other fans are having a go at you. Where's the sense in that??

I would beg differ with you there, TM. The claims he made were that there's an "absolutely superb atmosphere" and "the crowds may be small but the Ultras and everybody else make up for it in the Clayton End". Obviously, there have been times recently when the atmosphere has been less than superb but when Stanley are playing well, the atmosphere on the Clayton End is absolutely magic and Bananaman is quite right to say what he does.
It seems to me that all he was doing was being enthusiastic about the club he loves and the response from other fans was uncalled for. Firstly, it ill becomes a Darlington fan to start talking about atmosphere considering the mausoleum they play in and as for a Boston fan talking about dodgy dealings, need I go on?...
But, secondly, this sneering attitude seems a little unnecessary to me (and one that is not shared by many fans who have posted on here, telling us what a great day out they had at the FES). Yes, we are a small club with limited facilities, no money and small crowds. But we have as much right to be in the football league as anyone else - we got there on merit and our ground was passed as fit for league standards. Those who would deny us a place in the league seem to be subscribing to the worst kind of elitism in my opinion.

Very well said Wynonie - I agree with every word.
I can usually only see Stanley play away when they are down south (looking forward to going to the Brentford match on Saturday ), but on my one and only (so far) trip to the Fraser Eagle Stadium, I had a great day and loved the atmosphere, which was very friendly and welcoming. Long may this continue !!!

Re: lincoln supporter
Think its good that stanley fans float themselves around the various boards defending our club, think most are surprised by it hence the response bananaman got, there is more than one message board that stanley voices should be heard - it shocks em trust me, good on cmonstanley, i joined another board for stanley fans - that basically wasn't being used by us but by other teams to spout off on - now being rightfully claimed back to stanley even if its by a few well me kicking butts red hehehehehe

Re: lincoln supporter
If you go to a ground where there are a large number of people (thousands) then you get a real buzz from the atmosphere. I don't care how devoted you are, but a few hundred people with a drum and a couple of flags is never going to generate the same level of atmosphere. I know that will be an unpopular opinion, but I'm afraid that's a fact.
