Not an issue for me this result, Dale got slapped 5-0 by Morecambe, Shots got hammered 6-1 by Burton, stuff happens. By all accounts, we were not bad, just they were much better! It is what we do next that is important and let's just hope we catch Macc on a bad day

Why on earth is Turner not on the bench? Thought he had a two year contract, at least he runs at players and show some flair.
Good point. One big difference between the sides was that they had fast, direct and tricky wingers who befuddled our defence. Gary King muffed his big chance to impress although Coley picked a tough team for him to shine against. Bobby had one of his frustrating games, though he was very unlucky with one cracking free kick which rattled the bar which the lineswoman (sorry, assistant referee) failed to notice the goalie touched. Turner was shooting in before the game and resonded to his song by the Ultras. Can't believe he doesn't get a game.
The best entertainment of the night for us was the blindfolded dribble and goalscoring comp at half time between 2 Cobblers and Stanley supporters and their "assistants", though I don't think their man was as efficiently blindfolded as was ours. Closely followed by the stewards finally wading in to sort out the Ultras near the end - it was like disturbing a wasp's nest with a stick.

A few of the young lads improvised and used NTFC's seats as a drum, stewards werent happy with this and after 87mins of doing it they decided they would try and eject the young lad for doing it... numpties!
All in all, a performance on the pitch, I thought the ultras were in good form mind.

2 reasons we lost on tuesday. 1.most of the team where tired, a second or two slower from the off. 2. They are the best team ive seen in league two and in good form.
just looked on ceefax ....Northampton 0 Aldershot 3.......That's how poor we were on Tuesday night and that horrible little Thornton has been sent off! bring on the Macc
