No, very much doubt that. Mr Whalley would not take risks like that especially after the Leigh 4th round Qualify last season...

I fear the Wigan walk will emigrate to Accrington now. I cannot believe this, how can a team 39 places below us beat us. They wanted it more on Saturday, and by the looks of it, they wanted it more tonight. I have heard terrace rumblings about the tactics of the management and certain players not being good enough for the Conference etc etc, and as others have said, we can now concentrate on the Conference. But we have lost out on revenue that would have been helpful in January to bring in new players. Good luck to Worcester in the next round. I too will bite my lips, I thought Saturday was a blip, but now - well what can I say. I am deeply worried and disappointed

football is a funny old game! But thats why we love it..... They seemed to want it more i agree but its gone now so lets look to saturday's war of the roses. Hopefully JC can restore some confidence into the lads and we put in a resounding performance...I know its bad but lets look on the bright side folks
Lets learn from our mistakes. 1-0 up on saturday took out foot of the gas, 2-0 up tonight and against we take the foot off the gas.. We have to play for the full 90, we also have to do our part in the stands for the full 90 come saturday....

Zayno, whilst I agree with the sentiment, its about time JC restores the confidence of the fans, who pay week in, week out. whilst I accept that he will be a god if we get the ultimate aim of promotion to the league, as things are going, we will be lucky to be in the LDV next year. we are getting the one goal lead and sitting back, when in truth, we should be going forward and attacking more, after all is attack not the best form of defence!
