Lowest gates of the season coming up...

Rovers are doing tickets for the 3 games @ home to Wigan, Pompy and West Brom

£20 adults and £10 concessions for the 3 games.

Prepare to fall below the 1000 mark with attendances people.

Re: Lowest gates of the season coming up...

Don't think it'll make much difference to the 800-900 diehards that are currently turning up. apart from that, there are only two more home matches...Chester and Chesterfield. both will have bigger than average gates, thanks to large away followings (for different reasons). No way will we have a three-figrue gate before the end of the season!

Re: Lowest gates of the season coming up...

I do not think we will ever get a 3 figure gate during the season the only time we get that sort of attendance is pre-season. if the chester match has been moved because police say so than that must mean something about the amount of fans coming up, and the chesterfield game might be all ticket also says somethings about the amount of fans coming up! Last two home games of the season let's hope they are both wins

..apart from which, Rovers v Wigan is the day after our match with Chesterfield and the Portsmouth and West Brom matches are two and three weeks after our season has finished! Don't think you've thought this through, Sam.

It just shows how desperate things are at the prem then Would it make a difference - i think not much, besides as a positive [oooo heck who said there was no positivity here] people come here to be part of a friendly crowd where u can stand/sit with yer mates whilst watching footy from the sides rather than the spacious gods, & amongst a lively original grass roots fanbase, keep the drums beating

Re: Lowest gates of the season coming up...

According to an inside source, Stanley are expecting 300 fans from Chester and up to 1200 for the Chesterfield match. Don't personally think that many will travel up from Chesterfield, but would have though more from Chester especially if we have been dragged back down into the dogfight of relegation
