Hi,
We are heading from Dublin to the game this Saturday v Luton. With the current conditions what are the chances of it being played?
Thanks

Thanks for the replies. We'll be on the boat out of Dublin tomorrow, and fingers crossed the game will be on.

Re: Luton Game
At the time of writing , there are no messages on the club site that the game is in doubt. We've had a light snowfall this morning but so far not enough to cause concern. Fingers crossed.

Re: Luton Game
Just checked the site. Todays reserve game has been pulled.
"The reserve game at home against manchester City this afternoon has been called off due to thick layer of snow still covering the pitch. Details of the re-arranged game will be announced on here shortly."
I assume they will wait until the last moment before clearing the snow. I guess there is point in doing it twice.

Re: Luton Game
will we get a irish jig for half time on the pitch ala the norwegian supporters singing at half time at the Barnet game although andy procter wont be walking much on water at the moment now that he's injured.

Re: Luton Game
hope everythings ok fer the game, ya will find a difference between Dublin n Accy. but the ale is cheaper here. may be worth checking state of "Croke Park" usually very similar to here, then weighing odds up.

Re: Luton Game
Accrington Stanley have the 4th highest Ground in the football league so it's not really surprising to have games called off this time of year,im not saying the Luton game will be called off, but at 516ft above sea leval we have a 50/50 chance depending on the weather ..i hope it is on.. for full list of grounds click on the link http://www.midfielddynamo.com/stadia...nd_highest.htm
