Re: Luton Town Match Thread - Last home Match
Bittersweet today, I'd be quite happy if we played all year round - what's the point of summer anyway - nothing but cricket & wasps!

Re: Luton Town Match Thread - Last home Match
A busy day all round the leagues with more promotion and relegation issues decided......
Just following the National League scores on the BBC Live Scores site. Wouldn't like to see York City relegated again...we used to have some cracking 'Roses Derby' matches against them and my parents were both from over the border!
They have just equalised with a second goal for Parkin and could just do it.
Unfortunately though it puts them above Guiseley on goal difference. Woking are winning.
It is just horrible to be under threat at that end of any league!
.....Hey Ho ....
COME ON STANLEY!

Re: Luton Town Match Thread - Last home Match
York relegated....
Guiseley got a late goal to equalise and SURVIVE!
I think it is a shame that York are going down even further!
Oh well......
ON STANLEY ON

Re: Luton Town Match Thread - Last home Match
Thought we were very good 1st half and not that bad in the second. Luton are a good team though. What happened with the big hole that kept appearing in the left of our defence?
Lots of shouting for subs. I didn't really see much point as the 11 players on the pitch were still our best bet.
Beckles seemed to get laughter when MOTM was announced. I really didn't like that. I thought he had a decent enough game - as did they all. Reckon Harvey would have got my vote.

Agree on Rogers he was excellent again although could say 3rd goal he was perhaps to blame?
Beckles worse than usual today he was pathetic and killed the team today, Conneely also very poor

Re: Luton Town Match Thread - Last home Match
Don't like to comment on alleged 'poor performance' from any player, as they all give their best, every game, but agree that Rodgers would have got my vote for MOM.
As MOM is voted for by Hospitality 'Fans' & most of today's lot were from Luton, I guess the vote was a little ironic?
As an aside, we were subjected to having to endure a dozen or so Luton fans sat below us in the main stand...... when queried with a steward, was because they were 'Hospitality', & overspill from the section just below the lounge, so could not be ejected to the away end where they belonged.
Good job we Stanley fans are so amenable, would hate that situation to arise at many other grounds!!
