A rumour has come to my attention that the lancs senior cup is to be played behind closed doors at the cliff,if this is fact i think it's a bummer. This was a match i was looking forward to,so to play it behind closed doors is a bummer,if it's true does anyone know who's bright idea it was.Can anyone confirm this and if so will there be a DVD of it to buy, will KP be there to take photo's.
this was reported ages ago in the LET if you see the post about the orginal united game you will see someone posted about it beeing played behind closed doors

How is the cliff suitable? Is it not prone to freezing aswell??
What are the rules around the comp? Does the home team have to play within a certain distance of there town/city??
I'm sure there would be plenty of county league clubs willing to open there bar and pitch for the game, I know it not goin to be a masive crowd, but say 20 people buy 2pints each at £2.50 a pint then its a bit extra than they would have had?
I believe the game is being played tomorrow and is being played behind closed doors at The Cliff.
I can't see us playing the first team with a game on saturday so would expect it to be youth team that we send!!!
were supposed to be playing some trailist from non-league and a few other places according to the LET today.
Mr Heys confirmed that Reds manager John Coleman would run the rule over several potential new signings in the Lancashire FA Senior Cup tie against Manchester United at The Cliff tomorrow afternoon.
He added: “John is still very keen to add to the squad and he’ll be assessing a few players from non-league and a few other players in tomorrow’s game and then take it from there.”
