Mark Halsey, ref @ Christie Park

Big match, big name ref, can't wait.

wasnt as good as the last prem ref we had cant remember his name. missed a couple of really good shouts for pens for us. however did get two spot on for them although cant understand why he never booked baker in the 1st half and curtis in the 2nd half for diving

he also missed handball by a Stanley defender in the box and could have added on about 10 minutes for Dunbavin's time-wasting but apart from that he was better than most.

10 minutes?? Have you ever counted out 1 minute, never mind 10?

Ha ha - like it - not biased at all. Baker and Curtis didn't dive at all. Baker lost his footing under pressure from the defender and went over, Curtis was charging into the box and your defender stood his ground and Wayne clattered into him and flew into the air.
Neither (IMO) were fouls but neither were they dives.
On the pen shouts I think one of the two you had could have been given and the one we had when your player stooped low and controlled it with his hand was also a pen but the ref wasn't perfectly sighted for either so couldn't be certain. Halsey had a great game.
