Re: Match Preview from the Priestfield end

The link to the referee, ACCY REFEREE WILLIAMSON HAS ANGERED MANY, makes interesting reading.

As far as I can tell, we've had him twice before: at Brentford when we lost 3-0 in April 09 and at MK when we lost 3-1 at the end of the 06/07 season.

Re: Match Preview from the Priestfield end

Just listened to Andy Hessenthaler's interview on BBC Sport - Football - Accrington v Gillingham

He seems to think that we don't have much experience in the side and that our weakest link is our defence. This is despite the fact that we have conceded the least amount of goals out of any team in the league so far (just three) and with regards to experience, 395 appearances between central defensive partnership Hessey (31) and Edwards (24).

Despite Gillingham's away record (which I don't pay much attention to), there's more than enough quality in their attack to cause us problems. However it does seem as if Hessenthaler is underestimating our ability to cope defensively, which could be our key to victory.
