Re: Match Thread V Oldham

Maybe not a great night all round, coz the news coming out of the ground at oldham is that Jimmy has broken his leg. This has only come from one of their stewards speaking to one of our fans so may not be correct and I for one hope like hell that it isn't right. Right now everything I own is crossed for Jimmy.

Does anybody know anyone who went? They may know something more, but as you say Sparkie, hope it is not that bad.

Re: Match Thread V Oldham

Just got back from the match and it really was a game of two halfs..
we outclassed them in the second half and totally controlled the game.
Jimmy Ryan's injury looked really bad from where we were sat but we couldnt see much as there were soo many people around him

Even though we were at least half a pitch length away you could see he was in alot of pain. Hope he is ok!

Well that should narrow it down a bit, Leeds, Leeds or Leeds

Re: Match Thread V Oldham

Your assistant manager said he'd broken something, pretty sure he said it was his knee, looked like thats what they was focussing on to.

Brilliant result, but obviously marred by Jimmy's injury - couldn't really see from where we were but looked really bad with the amount of time he was down and the amount of medical people round him.
One of their stewards said it looked like it could be a compound fracture with the amount of blood there was, poor kid - am keeping everything crossed that it isn't but certainly didn't look at all good.

Re: Match Thread V Oldham

Our resident 2BR man Mr Dan Jewell is working on getting us an upate on Jimmy Ryan, apparently he's been rushed to hospital as they thought his leg was broken but as yet this is only an initial prognosis from in the stadium. Dan will be posting an upate on here as soon as he hears anything, he seems to think it'll be fairly soon so keep your eyes peeled and fingers crossed people!!!

Very bad news if Jimmy has broken his leg, won't be back this side of christmas. Get well soon Jimmy. but on the plus side, at least we have Joycie. Sounds a bit like Oldham tried to kick us off the park with Symes down on a couple of occasions plus to other two in the final seconds. Hope we have a team for Saturday!

Re: Match Thread V Oldham

Great result tonight, second half performance was really good. Jimmy Ryan's injury put a bit of a damper on it though.
