One worrying thing that I have noticed more than ever this season is the lack of encouragement and advice that the team seems to get from the technical area. Coley and Jimmy Bell are quickly on their feet when they disagree with the decisions of officials but, compared to other management teams, ours seems to appear only occasionally and then merely to berate.
I have had the same discussion with two ex pro's who watched seperate games from just to the right of them

Also to be fair both also commented on the fast pace of both games and the commitment of both sides playing

Re: Match Thread vs Mariners

I agree that Murphy is not good enough. I was only making a point to Oldgobbin that the moving of Phil to right back was NOT enforced and that Coley had other options.

Sorry, Jeff, I hadn't realised that you were making that point to me. The fact is that, as you and I both agree that Murphy is not good enough, then if Coley happens to feel the same way as us, the move probably was, to some degree, enforced. At least it appears that, like us, he discounted the other option.

Re: Match Thread vs Mariners

We lost the match because of bad defending and rubbish subs. No-one else was more saddened about the loss then Coleman. Coley has saved us from relegation this season, look what weve been through and what weve achieved this season. Even a trip to leeds we got!! I think alot of people need to realise what weve actually done this season and how many things we have survived!!

Coleman is a superb manager and is admired throughout the league with so many managers and fans!!! For what he has done and is going to this club!!
If it wasnt for the jack the lad attitude then he would be up their in the Championship.
I could type all night about the man.....

Didn't Stanley lose at home on Easter Monday last year?

Was at the game. Chester.
