Re: Matty O'Neill

Matty O'Neill seemed Ok when he was with us on loan and I would like to see Joel Pilkington given a trial - I believe he plays at right back and we'll need cover for Cav now the club have seen fit to get rid of Paul Howarth.

Re: Matty O'Neill

Yep Joel can play in a lot of positions, his best is center midfield. 2 years ago he was better than Chaplow was and was going to be the one going into the Burnley first team instead of Chaplow, unfortuneatly he got injured and was out for 6 months

I dont think he will be coming here though because he is on trial for a Belgium top flight club!!!!!

Matty O'niell was seen at the club one evening last week waiting to speak to 'the Gaffer', his words not mine!!

Personally i would love to see Matty here at the IES but he would have to become a little less easy to shrug off the ball, he needs a bit more muscle to him!!! however with plenty of games I'm sure this would come.
