Just been looking through the free local paper - Citizen, and a leaflet fell out about free valuations of sporting memorabilia at Accrington Stanley this Tuesday

just another shameless plug for this event
 also, if any of you do you have any Stanley related memorabilia please please consider loaning it to the Exhibition. We'd like to build specific stands around various ex-players and teams so if you have anything pertaining to specific players let me know. I'd also like to display old shirts, badges, even scarves! So please have a look around or ask your parents if they might have anything. We are getting close now to finalising arrangements so things need to be pledged NOW! ta

The bloke was on Radio Lancashire yesterday. He was in Darwen and from the sound of it, there wasn't many interesting items showed up in Accrington. It sounded as though Darwen was slightly more successful, such as a programme from Darwen's game against Arsenal in 1932, which Darwen lost 11-1 after a replay.
 Apparently, if you have the programme for the original game, it's worth approximately £1000!!!
